| I was thinking of naming this thread "Japan's finest" or "The best thing Japan has to offer" but that may have gotten out of hand. Annnyways, this band called Segwei just did a split with End Of A Year. Segwei are from Japan and their side of the split is the only recorded material they have released. Not many hardcore bands come out of Japan so this is pretty cool. That band As We Let Go that did the split with Sinking Ships I wasn't that into. Does this have a purpose? I don't know. Check them out, I'm really stoked on them. http://www.myspace.com/segwei |

| confuse are pretty much the alpha and omega of japanese hc. as for bands currently going, isterismo are entirely fucked, death dust extractor are loud as fuck and awesome. i was really impressed by morpheme in austin as well, keeping the flame alive. |

| Japan's finest I would personally say would be the S13. Now I'm fully into S14's as well, along with few other cars.
But the best thing out of many great things they have to offer would be their automobiles and automotive sport. |

| disclose or framtid are the standard for japanese hc, as far as i'm concerned. reject are a cool new band doing similar stuff, as well as zyanose. acute are awesome but fucking weird... its otherwise pretty straightforward, ripping japcore, but with these strange melodic chunks that somehow make sense? and yeah, japan has a huge hardcore scene. they do it fucking excellently too, noise not music. three of the headlining bands at chaos in tejas this year were japanese and there were almost as many last year as well, for instance. |
