What do you store your LP's in?

I can't seem to find anything, tried a milk crate today and it was too small. What do you use?

so like... people around the world have been storing LPs in milk crats for 50 years but your LPs are somehow too big?haha

I thought it was weird as well haha. Maybe the milk crate in my garage is smaller than most? I'm not really sure.

you can usually find tons behind convenience stores

Mine are currently in an Orville Redenbacher's 32 pack popcorn box (LPs) and a Pilsner 12 pack box (7"). I need to go steal a milk create for sure.

I have my 7"'s in a shoe box right now (thanks to Joel for the tip).

if you wanna use a milk crate you'd have to find an older one cus new ones are made too small. The one you used before is probs one of the newer ones.

I just have mine on a book shelf. Comic book long boxes and short boxes are the perfect size for 7" they hold like 600-700 I think.
Ikea has book shelves that are divided into perfect LP sized compartments . they are niffty and fashionable.

leaning on each other in my book shelf, in three seperate groupings of 13-15. this is because i know nothing of the endurance of records and are worried about warping them.

yeah i have a little shelf for LPs. but as of this weekend i am over capacity. 7's are in vans boxes.

yeah some years ago they made milk crates about one square inch smaller specifically so that people wouldn't steal em to keep records in. the old ones are gems but hard to find. i keep mine on these cheap ikea shelves

authentic boxes are too skinny but you can stack like 2 rows sideways. old skool boxes and half cab boxes are perfect.

staples has nice wide crates for files and such that work great for lps. highly recommended

for 7"'s any shoeboxxx will do nbd

Right now they're all in a clusterfuck of all sorts of shipping boxes.
I need to get me one of them Expedit shelving units from Ikea.
