| Some how I got it into my head that I should put together a fanzine. I probably shouldn't but am anyways. Here's the speel: | Quote: | The zine will be focused on hardcore/punk/music, life and just general random stuff in (Southern) Alberta.

I'm aiming to have it done by the end of march/beginning of april so any submissions would need to be in by about March 20th at the latest (March 15th would be best though!).
The first run will be super limited so even if you don't want to submit anything let me know if you want a copy and I'll make sure you get one.
Any submissions would be greatly appreciated. Post here or email me if you have any questions. I will post updates as I gather/create content so you'll know what it will contain.
Also, tell your friends. |
The zine will probably be a little bit more focused on Lethbridge since that is where I live and know people. I'm going to try and keep it as cheap as possible (hopefully free) but if you want a copy and live elsewhere I might need to ask a little bit to cover shipping (don't know yet)...ya. |

I was supposed to do something similar for brent's website hoped for.

I don't know who brent is or what website you're talking about but I am down for some interviews/articles if you got 'em.
So far I've got an interview with Voices, was thinking about Battle! but don't really think I know enough about them to do it. As well my girlfriend is supposed to be writing me an article or two but has apparently not done anything yet so any content I can get is pretty welcome. My life is boring and there is no way I can fill an issue just with my own bullshit.

| i have some interviews i was supposed to use for my roomates zine that never happened that you are more then welcome to you if you promise me this will actually published and people outside of lethbridge will read it. |

| It will for sure be published. I don't want to make any promises I can't keep about it being read outside of lethbridge though. I mean a few copies will probably make their way to calgary and edmonton but I can't really guarantee much beyond that at this point. I haven't done this before so the first issue will be pretty experimental.
If you'd rather hold off and wait till I know what I'm doing a little bit more I totally understand. |

| i have a TON of writing coming up for school. but if youre looking for some shorter editorial type pieces i might be able to help you out. just stuff i wont have to do much research or anything for. once school ends in april i would be down for doing more in depth stuff though! |

talk to people who run distros in other cities, talk to people in bands in other cities/provinces, etc. ask them if they'd want to take a few copies. etc. |

This would rule. Even if you just wrote something thats only a couple paragraphs for this first issue I would be stoked. |

Writing is awesome!
As far as interviews go (for other people who have offered as well) if there is someone you specifically want to interview shoot me a PM or email and we can work something out. |
