What are your top 5 favorite video games of all time?

I know it might be hard to narrow it down, but for me my #1 is easy to decide upon.
I need to know what all your fav games are, i'm curious because none of mine were created past 05.
so i'm wondering if it's an age thing or a quality thing (being that there's too much focus on graphic quality and not gameplay etc.)

So what are they? Note this is not what you think are the best, but simply what you enjoyed the most
and/or have wasted hours upon hours of your God damn life upon.

4. final fantasy games...any of them...if that kinda counts as a ranking. moreso toward ff9 and crisis core.

2. Tenchu- Wrath of Heaven

1. Starwars- Jedi Academy for PC...i literally had to take it off my computer and give it away because i became so fucking addicted to it. soooooooo gooooood.

starcraft, perfect dark, harvest moon 64, shadow of the colossus, command and conquer

i should say Halo 1 actually.. had some pretty epic LAN games. The other two were not the same with out the original pistol.

2 - Civ4

3 - Command and Conquer: Red Alert.

woah good thread. this is going to be hard.

1) Madden 2008 - because i played it the most out of all the Madden games, and it was the year Shaun Alexander was on the cover and he was my favorite player back then.

2) Super Smash Bros Melee - because it had Bowser, and the N64 version didn't. On a side note SSB Brawl was horrible.

3) NHL Faceoff 1999 - i played it until the disc stopped working. the one game i pent the most hours on for sure.

4) Spyro: Ripto's Rage - crazy adventure game, played it so much.

5) Call of Duty 4/Call of Duty MW2: This might sound dumb because it's pretty new, but both these games have amazing story modes, and it's so easy to get lost in the online games for hours at a time.
